DIY wood stools transformation (before and after)
Tenemos una isla en nuestra cocina y necesitaba unos bancos, no estaba segura de lo que realmente quería así que me fui de compras con la esperanza de encontrar unos bancos que me robaran el ♥ (así es como me siento cuando encuentro algo de decoración que me gusta mucho mucho) Fui a diferentes lugares y me empecé a sentir algo triste o desanimada porque no encontraba los bancos de mis sueños y la razón principal era porque había un serio problema, todos los bancos que me gustaban estaban caros! y yo tenia un presupuesto un presupuesto muy pequeño :/ así que se pueden imaginar yo quería algo muy bonito pero no tenia el dinero para pagarlo, suena ilógico yo se, pero pues esa es la verdad...
Pero seguí buscando, hasta que fui al home depot y encontré unos básicos banquitos de madera y realmente me gustaron que hasta me emocione cuando los vi y lo mejor de todo es que eran los bancos más baratos que había visto costaban $200 pesos, nada mal!!! Lo que no me gusto era el acabado de madera de pino pero nada que algo de pintura no pudiera arreglar. Así que compre los bancos y les di una capa de mancha para madera en un tono oscuro y les pinte unos lindos calcetines blancos en las patitas. Ahora me ENCANTA como se ven, en un futuro me gustaría poder comprar unos bancos más solidos y cómodos pero por ahora estos son más que perfectos para mi familia :)

I have an island in my kitchen and I needed stools, I didn't knew exactlly what I wanted so I went shopping hoping to find something that made my ♥ melt (that's how I feel when I find something decor related that I really like) I went to several places and I started feeling sad when I coudn't find the stools of my dreams, and the reason was because the stools that I liked the most where so expensive! and I was on a budget :/ a very small budget so imagine how I felt I wanted something really cute but I didn't have the money kind of silly I now...
but I kept looking until I went to the home depot and I found some basic wood stools and suprisingly I really liked them and the best part is that they where the cheapest of all the stools I've looked so far they only cost like $15 dollars not bad!!! I didn't liked the pine wood finish, but that wasn't a problem you can always use paint. So I bought the stools and transform them with a dark stain and cute white paint socks and I LOVE how they look. I'm happy with them, later I want more solid and comfortable stools, but this ones will work for now :)
