¿El decorar es sólo para ricos?

Muy al principio que me casé eso hace ya casi trece años compre mi primer revista de decoración en un puesto de revistas de una central camionera. En ese tiempo  yo vivía en una pequeña casita con lo básico y trataba de que estuviera limpia, ordenada y que se viera linda con algunas fotografías y adornos que me habían regalado en mi boda. 

Al ver por primera vez las fotografías en la revista de decoración me quede FACINADA! me parecía sorprendente que un espacio pudiera transmitir tantas sensaciones y sentimientos, fue como amor a primer vista ;) entonces empecé a coleccionar revistas de decoración solo por el simple gusto de ver las lindas fotografías, y les confieso que al principio el pensar que mi casa se pudiera ver como las de las revistas me parecía algo en cierto modo imposible porque en mi mente estaba la idea de que sólo los "ricos" podían vivir así..............

Pues estaba completamente equivocada ya que el vivir en un espacio lindo y decorado no significa que debe tener muebles y artículos caros, simplemente significa que sea lindo para ti y tu familia, con cosas que te hagan sentir bien y lo mejor es que muchas de esas cosas las puedes hacer tu mismo.

Así que empecé a encontrar formas de decorar mi casa, y termine pintado paredes, pintando mi cocina, haciendo cojines,  cuadros y coleccionado poco a poco cosas que me gustaban.

Si tu piensas que tu casa se puede ver mucho mejor de como se ve ahora ANIMATE a hacer los cambios necesarios. El estar en un ambiente acogedor y que guste no te imaginas los muchisimos beneficios que tiene para tu estado de animo. 

When I just got married almost thirteen years ago I bought my first decor magazine at a bus station. I used to live in a little house (which it the same house I live right now but it is a little bigger now) with the basic things and I tried to kept it cleaned, organized and with some family pictures and decor items that I got at my wedding as gifts.

The first time I saw the beautiful pictures in the decor magazine it was FACINATING. For me it was amazing that a space could transmit peaceful feelings, it was like love at first sight ;) then I started collecting decor magazines just for the pleasure of looking at those beautiful spaces, and I confess that at that time to think that my house could look like that, seemed impossible to me because in my mind I had the idea that only "rich" people could live like that..................

Well, I was completely wrong because living in a beautiful space doesn't have to do with expensive furniture and decor objects, it is about  making it nice for you and your family with things that make you feel good, and the best part is that many of those things you can do them yourself.

So I started finding ways to decor my house, I end up painting walls, painting my kitchen cabinets, making pillows, hanging pictures and collecting little by little things that I liked. 

If you feel that your house can look much better than the way it looks today, start making those small changes YOU CAN DO IT. Beeing in a space that makes you feel good has so many benefits for you and your family.
